Estudio Núñez Zapata is an architecture, exhibition, object design, and research practice based in Monterrey, Mexico. Since 2009, it has designed award- winning private residences, art installations, masterplans, exhibitions, and public spaces.

Their work has been exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art in Mexico City, the Mexican Pavilion of the Venice Architecture Biennale in both the 2016 and 2021 editions, the National Architecture Museum in Mexico City, the UIA2021Rio Contemporary Latin American exhibition in Rio de Janeiro in 2021, and Salón Cosa in Monterrey and Mexico City.

Casa Ocho Vigas was a finalist for the Oscar Niemeyer Latin American Architecture Award and a winner of the Nuevo León Architecture Biennial in its category.

They have given lectures at the Sam Fox School of Design and Visual Arts, the University of Indiana at Columbus, the A.I.A. LRGV annual conference in Texas, and Casa de Arquitectura in Querétaro among others.

Since 2020, they are partners of F.A.M.A., northern Mexico’s first affordable contemporary art fair.

They founded and edited Carnem magazine in 2016. Its first issue Negotiations won the Rául Rangel Frías award for publications.
